The Future...

Sat Aug 4, 2007, 8:13 PM
I thought it was time to update the journal since the barrage of visits since the Villanizer was featured on DA. I cannot begin to thank all of you for the kind words and inspiration you've given me. I love you all.

I'm currently working on custom orders since the release of the Nautilus. I'm nearly finished a custom order for a gent in Belgium and one for France is due to go out soon too.

The next guitar is going to set the world on it's fuckin' ear. It's not what anyone is going to expect, and it's one of the most ambitious to date that I've done. It'll actually be a matching set of guitars (although I dunno if they'll be bought by the same people). Nonetheless they'll be ridiculous.

I've now moved Thunder Eagle Guitars out of my house and into a professional studio in White Hall MD., which is housed on one of the oldest properties (1780) around the state. The very studio building I have is a historical landmark...really cool, and wait for it....haunted as all hell. Several visitors to the main house have seen soldier from the Civil war, heard ballroom music playing, and old lady walking up the stairs in 1800's clothing...name it. I've had the lights go off in the shop, knocking at the door and no one there, and sounds I cannot explain.

It's actually not scary, but really cool being there, and it gives me an opportunity to focus entirely on building and creating without interruption or distractions (aside from the occasional spirit restlessness). It's a paradise.

I'll be finishing a Ernie Ball double necked monstrosity soon, which is a paint job only, the subject being one of Mucha's stunning women...I love Mucha and I've always wanted to paint one of his masterpieces on a guitar...it's gonna be great looking.

Stay tuned for the guitars to come...I think you all will like em.

If you build it, they will come.
Your guitars are SICK. The Nautilus and the Villanizer are amazing. Just jaw dropping. I had to let you know, hahahahahah!
And I also had to let you know my mutual fancrazyness for Steve Morse. He's an incredible musician. He's got a new album coming out soon too! With this girl: [link] [link]

that's it sir, you're leaving.
Hi, my name is Damien McDaniel and I was wondering if I could model your guitar, The Villanizer, for my school project in Hard Surfacing class with Mr. Mike Eudy. I am a student at the Art Institute of Dallas and I already sent my last message yesterday about it. I don't mean to bother you but I need an answer by tuesday night. But, please!!! It is very important to my grade and it is not for any commercial use at all, just classwork.
